PDF File Hints
We offer selected documents for viewing, stored as portable document format (PDF) files. These require Adobe™ Acrobat Reader, which can be downloaded from the Adobe World Wide Web site at http://www.adobe.com/acrobat/.
To view a PDF file:

For small files, click the link. |

(This may display a dialog box with the options to "Open" the file or to "Save" it. "Open" will launch Acrobat Reader and open the file. "Save" will save the file to your hard drive, similar to the procedure below.)

For large files, you must first save them to your hard drive. Attempting to open large PDF files through your browser may cause your system to freeze. To save them, right-click the link for the PDF file and select Save Target As... (Microsoft® Internet Explorer) or Save Link As... (Netscape® Navigator) and specify a location on your hard drive. To view them, launch Acrobat Reader, click File > Open and select the PDF file. |
